The library is a linear volume that completes the residential´s block sequence that form the neighborhood of Villaverde-Butarque. The generation of a volume whose geometry is adapted to the pre-existing site dimensions, allows the project to be linked with the three roads that surround it as well as integrated into the urban network.

Being a building that must develop its program in only two heights, the project is buried by large residential blocks whose volumes hide the presence of the library in the neighborhood. For this reason, the project is committed to the section as a mechanism for capturing light as well as generating its own identity in the environment.
