The privileged location of this plot could be considered to be the heart of the city. The building enjoys a high visibility and is viewed from far as advancing in the main artery of the downtown –the Calle Amparo– towards the old quarter of the city. Before taking action, this land was occupied by an uninteresting and poorly maintained building, which impoverished the square entirely.
