In 2005 Guadalajara city town hall organize a competition for building a new underground parking and restoring the José de Creeft square. From our point of view, the biggest challenge was to create a pedestrian public space that could be used again as a transit and recreation area by local residents, something that had been lost over the years. Also and in order to recover the identity of the original park, most of the green areas and trees were restored.
